We are looking for a Project Engineer responsible for managing CAPEX projects in various areas, such as process piping (clean and non-clean), HVAC installations, civil works, clean rooms, and utility equipment. All in GMP and non-GMP areas.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create project cost estimates and conduct value improvement reviews
  • Generate all necessary project management documents, plans, and reviews, such as risk assessments, project charters, project scope statements, procurement planning, quality planning, and functional specifications
  • Determine technical solutions
  • Handle project HSE management and conduct project safety reviews
  • Develop and execute the Project Execution Plan, including supervising installation
  • Produce, review, and approve project-based drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations, and datasheets
  • Conduct FAT/SAT/inspections of new equipment in the project
  • Manage commissioning activities
  • Address project deficiencies and deviations
  • Formulate and execute project execution strategies that cater to customer needs in terms of cost, schedule, quality, and functionality

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience, with 2 years spent on investment projects in the Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Deep knowledge of HSE and GxP/QA
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated skills in project management, including contract management and project controlling
  • Wide-ranging interdisciplinary knowledge
